Dual studies at DEUTA and DHBW Mannheim
Since 2001, DEUTA has been offering school-leavers with Abitur (diploma from German secondary school qualifying for university admission or matriculation) a solid academic education combined with practical experience as part of its dual study programme. Theory and practice alternate systematically every three months and are logical extensions of each other. During their three-year studies, the students are employed by DEUTA. They receive a training contract with an attractive training allowance. This means that you have financial security and can fully concentrate on your studies. During the practical part, you will be involved in exciting projects that are always practice-oriented. Our flat hierarchies allow for a direct exchange with the development departments.
Their theoretical training (50% of the total training period) takes place in a three-month rotation at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim. Instead of anonymity and overcrowded lecture halls, the lectures take place in small study groups of approx. 30 students. This allows for intensive supervision of each individual student and the use of state-of-the-art teaching and learning methods. The training programme aims at the degree ‘Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)’ or ‘Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)’ which is recognised throughout Europe.
This degree provides successful graduates with profound technological know-how and access to the international business world of global players.
